Where Charles Ritz Loved To Fish (MIDDLE RISLE: Parcour Malasis)

Parcour Malasis is a 3km stretch of the middle Risle just above Charles Ritz's original stretch at Aclou. Malasis is privately owned and managed by third generation members of the Rambaud family and fished only by family and friends. On the periphery of the estate there is also a river-fed one acre lake for coarse fishing.

In addition to the main river there are two carrier streams offering a great variety of water.  The island that divides the main stream from one of the carriers is home to a family of Kingfishers - testament to the purity of the water.

The brown trout of Parcour Malasis are handsome hard fighting fish and totally wild. Fishing here is challenge but well worth the effort. As Ritz said in his memoirs  ..." If you can catch a fish on the Risle, you can catch a fish anywhere".

CLUB FLY FISH NORMANDY is in the priviliged position being the only company able to offer access to these exclusive private waters.
